After watching movie Hindi Medium in year 2017 we can say that Angrezi Medium is sequal of it . As in the movie Angrezi Medium takes the idea forward The movie stars Irrfan Khan and Kareena Kapoor  are in the lead roles. Right from her childhood, Tarika (Radhika Madan) have  a dream of studying abroad. Initially, her father Champak Bansal (Irrfan Khan), who owns a sweetmeat shop named Ghasitaram, is a bit apprehensive about her 'videshi' plans as he fears losing his daughter. Nevertheless, he throws a challenge at Tarika to earn good grades and secure a scholarship at Truford University in London.

Kareena Kapoor Khan is introduced in the 2nd half as a hard-boiled cop and Dimple Kapadia is shown to be her mom. The two women don’t get along and are bitter towards each other but we’re given no clue as to why. And their thawing of relations is too sudden, too soon. Radhika Madan’s character is shown to be a caring and sensitive youngster in the first half and becomes somewhat selfish and uncaring in the second half. Again, we aren’t told what leads to this change.
