MOVIE DESCRIPTION :
JAMTARA web series was released on year 2020. Its and Indian web series based on phishing in the jamtara district of India . Now days phishing and carding is become common in all over world . A group of small town young people of jamtara district run a lucrative phishing operation all over India .
The web-show, spanning 10 episodes, about 25 minutes each, isn’t concerned about how they got together to scam people- the genesis of the idea, the first call, the convincing of friends, how they source the phone numbers to call. It is much more interested in the consequences of this phishing. The rest is all consequence. As a narrative choice, you are set up for failure. You want to capture the audience’s empathy for these characters without really setting up the characters or their intentions.
While the first episode of season one kick starts something unique, the finale ends on a contrived and tested twist. Also, the first few episodes give a semblance of a larger thing at play but that soon fades away and we were left with the usual cat-and-mouse chase. Maybe Season 2 has some redemption to the waning trajectory and will set things right.
